Max Cassidy Book 2

Jaws of Death

This is the second title in the gripping Max Cassidy action-adventure series.

His father is missing, presumed dead, and his mother is serving a twenty-year sentence for the murder. But teenage escapologist Max Cassidy, nicknamed the Half-Pint Houdini, is certain everybody is wrong – about both things. And now, his quest to find the truth has become very dangerous…

Max learns that his dad was part of a secret global organisation named the Cedar Alliance. He seeks help from the other members of the group, but they are scattered across the globe – and then they start disappearing one by one. Max goes to Sweden and then into the depths of the Borneo jungle to look for answers. But his enemies are right behind him and they have friends in high places.

Tough and resourceful, Max uses his unique skills to escape from his pursuers. He uncovers more evidence that his father is alive and on the run, but can Max survive long enough to find him?

Reviews for Jaws of Death

Very awesome! So good, I read it in two hours! Loved it!

Goodreads

I stumbled across this series by accident but so loved the characters and the writing and the incredibly exciting plot that I was hooked almost after the first page. It will hold enormous appeal for those fans of Charlie Higson’s Young Bond and Anthony Horowitz’s Alex Rider books

Goodreads

This book is the second Max Cassidy book I’ve read, and it gets more and more tense every page I read. This book is literally non-stop action. At least six dramatic chases, lots of epic escapes, and its hard to know when all of the suspense will end(not that I want it to!!). A fully recommended book by myself. A must-read action book, but read the first book(Escape from Shadow Island)before this.
